On Friday night, December 9th, 2016 the San Gorgonio Spartans will host the Valley View Eagles for an opportunity to play in the CIF 5AA bowl championship game next week. This is a huge game as both teams are powerhouses in the state of California. Valley View fans might not be able to make this trip to San Gorgonio so they will likely seek radio broadcast options online through a streaming audio feed.

Fortunately, most big California high school football games are broadcast by a number of different local AM and FM radio stations. Now that there are dozens of apps that offer free radio, it should not be difficult to find your station of choice. If you know your radio station has a website with an online streaming player they are likely on the TuneIn radio app. If you have an iPhone or Android you can download it now for free.

Even though this is a huge game, there are over a dozen California high school games going on tonight. That means that it will likely not be shown on national or regional TV. Do not expect this game to be on ESPN or any of the other major channels. It might be on local sports channels but do not expect it to be on basic cable.

So, are you going to to travel to San Gorgonio High School to watch this game? Are you going to try to find it on the radio? How are you going to consume this important event?
